We are home after four weeks in the states. We had a great trip! It was so good to see family and a few friends. And how good it is to be home!
My dad and his wife Glynda.
Dorothy was so right when she said there is no place like home; however defining what home is difficult for Debbie and me. While we were in Denver and Phoenix we felt very much at home with family, friends, and at church. We were so comfortable in the cities we use to call "home" knowing best routs to destinations and where the best family owned restaurants are.
Good Friends at FBC.
We were very encouraged and refreshed by our time at Bethany Bible Church in Phoenix and Foothills Bible Church in Denver. How we thank God for these churches which are so supportive of us and the work God has called us to do.
We had a chance to ride a bike build for two. Great fun!
However, being back at the Festaburg feels very much like we are back home. It is good to be back to our own bed and the work that is before us here.

We had a grand adventure coming back to Germany. We were not able to fly from Denver to Frankfurt as planned but had to fly from Denver to Stuttgart instead. While in the middle of the confusion we met another family that was in the approximately the same situation as they too were unable to fly to Frankfurt. We had planned to help them get from Stuttgart to Ramstein but it turned out they had to help us get back to Baumholder (long story).
Our new friends!
We are still separated from our luggage and hope to have that problem solved today or tomorrow.
We had a great time with our son Dave.
