Today is the fourth day in a row that the sun has been shining in Baumholder. Every day it has been a little warmer than the day before. The trees are budding and the birds are singing, loudly I might add. I am surprised by how much more optimistic I am when the sun is out. When the sun is shinning my problems (which aren’t many) feel smaller and the opportunities for wonderful things seem larger. I believe that how we feel about our lives is mostly about attitude. Maybe 10% of our lives is about what happens to us and 90% about how we chose to look at it. It is all about attitude; that is the choice we always have. However, the sun shinning at the beginning of April is helping to feel really good about everything! On Sunday we leave on a big spring break trip to Poland. Every day the numbers change a little, but it looks like there will be about 30 of us traveling in 5 vehicles. I think it is going to be a blast. I am also praying for sun as we drive!
