Last week Debbie and I were in Eardeisley, England for our annual European Staff Conference. We had a great time with our staff. Cadence International faces some great opportunities as we think together about the open doors that are before us in Burundi.
We spent time studding the Word of God, praying and developing our friendships with one another.
In addition to thinking about our opportunities and developing our friendships we also worked on some of challenges we face as the US military begins to downsize in Europe and the US Economy is struggling. We thank God for his provision for our ministries but are thinking about how we will respond to these challenges.
Debbie and I are looking forward to a great week of ministry here in Baumholder and then on Sunday we head out again. This time to Avino Italy where will explore with the chaplains our next step in opening a ministry there.
Thank you for all of your prayers for us! God has kept us safe; that is a real answer to prayer as travel for anyone in Burundi can be dangerous and travel for me is dangerous in England; I am not so good driving on the left side of the road. We never take His safety for granted; it is a gift we thank Him for.
