On Friday night we had a great dinner and Bible Study focusing on Ephesians 5:15-20 and talked about what it means to be “careful how we live…making the most of every opportunity”. It was really a good study and I think we were all challenged by thinking about the little decisions that we make everyday that over the years makes us into who we are.
Sunday night a group of us took the train to Frankfurt to watch the world cup final between USA and Japan. It was disappointing that the USA tied in overtime and then lost in the final shoot out. But we had a great time as a group. The game didn’t start until 8:45 so we didn’t get home until 2 a.m. Monday morning!
Because our guys our down range our group is small mostly, women, infants and small children. I thank God that he has placed us here so we can be of small help to these dear friends that face the huge challenges that come from living overseas and as a single parent.
